I wanted to update everyone if they haven't gotten their own personal phone call -- that the Chronicle called me a couple of weeks ago to let me know that they are back to carrying all of the inserts now.

I did not re-subscribe because I am very happy with the St. Pete Times because we get the extra inserts for the other stores that are not in this area.

I also got better pricing from the St. Pete Times than I did from the Chronicle.

I guess in a way it was good for me that the Chronicle quit the smart source for awhile so I could try some other papers :o)

However if you like the Chronicle and cannot get a better deal (fyi -- St. Pete Times is pretty good about wheeling and dealing) than they are now back to carrying the coupons

CVS coupons update

Just returned from CVS and all of the coupons were good that I purchased!! -- Saved me $20.00 and only cost $1.99 (so basically $18.01 savings)

ok, I know I have talked about this before but I wanted to mention it again

Anytime I expect it to be a good week at CVS I look for the Save $4.00 on $20.00 purchase coupons on ebay. CVS contacted me on Sunday and paid me $10.00 in ECB to do a survey and they have some really good deals running right now so I am going to make a coupon run. I say that like it is rare but it has probably been 4 months since I have been able to take advantage of any of their deals!!

So, for $1.99 I got $20.00 worth of coupons. Even if I only used 1 I would be $2.00 ahead -- however if they have everything that is on my list I will probably need at least 3 of them!!

Walmart Double Coupons pilot program

Walmart Double Coupon Guidelines for the Pilot Stores

I finally spoke with store management at one of the WV Walmarts that are part of the pilot program. Below is a list of guidelines, please keep in mind this all via verbal communication, I have no written documentation to support this.
Folks, this is better than we could have imagined.
1. They are doubling all MFG(ONLY) coupons up to $.99. That means $.75 is worth $1.50.

2. They are price matching and using double coupons in WV

3. You must present each coupon with the itme you are buying as they are doubling manually and must adjust the individual item, they cannot adjust the total.

4. Limits are as stated on the coupon(no limit stated means no limit)

5. Are you freaking kidding me, what else do you want?!?!
I am still working on trying to get a list of participating locations and if there are any differences between stores or if the policy is standard for all Walmarts that are part of the pilot program.
