Ok, everyone knows my girls love to crochet, so I was super excited to get the opportunity to get them another set of needles to try. They are always on the search for that "perfect set" of needles.
I was sent this set for free to try in exchange for my honest review and opinion.
Ok, first of all I have always been told if you can't say something nice -- don't say nothing at all. However, this is the whole reason the company sent them to me....
the price on these was very reasonable at $6.99....
The case on them was very nice. Has a nice zipper that totally encloses them in so you will not lose them.
BUT!!!!
Lauren was anxious to give them a try. She picked up the first needle and had barely begun and it bent right in her hand -- we were like Whoa!! Not good!!
So she grabbed another needle. That one bent as well. In the colored ones, the 4 smaller ones definitely would not hold up. The larger ones did not bend, but she said they did not feel solid in her hand (she has been crocheting for about 15 years so she does know what she is doing).
The only ones that seemed like they were going to hold up to any amount of crocheting were the silver ones.
The bad thing is I contacted the company back and told them what was going on
