I tried Oleavine's Therapeutic soap previously and LOVED it - so was happy to once again be given the opportunity to try another one of their products.
They contacted me to try their Neem Oil in exchange for an honest review and opinion.
Ok, right off the bat -- the smell is horrendous -- HOWEVER -- anyone that is familiar with Neem already knows this. Anyone that does not have a super sensitive nose like me could get great benefits from it on their skin, hair and scalp. My daughter uses it for her eczema and it works really well.
I cannot personally handle the smell on my skin. BUT it works great on the animals as well. We mixed a 10-1 solution in a 32 oz spray bottle. We mixed approx 3 oz of Neem and the rest water. We use it on the horse to keep the bugs off of him and also on any bites he has gotten from the bugs to keep them from getting infected. It works AWESOME for this!! You do have to make sure and shake the bottle good between each use as the water and oil do separate!!
The company advertises the smell as "earthy" -- To me Neem smells like rotten onions :(
I REALLY REALLY like it for the animals that are outdoors though. Keeps the mosquitoes, Bot Flies, Horse Flies etc from irritating them!!
Definitely recommend for this!!!!
