He initially tried using this by just trying to get it to suds up in his hands and it didn't work real well that way. What he really needed was a shaving soap brush which we didn't have. However, I had an unused makeup brush that was about the right fullness and it worked great!!!
Just dampen the brush, give it a little swirl on the soap and apply!!
According to Tim, this feels better than shaving cream and I am sure it is much better for his skin when you take into account all of the chemicals that are in your canned shaving creams
These are some good ingredients in this as you can tell. Tim said this allowed his razor to glide across his face and seemed to make it wear his razor was not "catching" on his hairs (his term -- not mine). He said his face also felt more hydrated with this than it does when he uses his shave cream. Tim shaves 1-2 times a week whether he needs it or not - LOL, so this will probably last a little bit for him!!
I received 2 4 oz bars. One in Bay Rum and Spice and one in Sandalwood. Have not opened the Sandalwood yet because he has been using the Bay Rum and Spice. They both smell nice though!! The smell is subtle and not overpowering.
Pros -- Great ingredients, Skin Felt Moisturized, Easier Shave, Tim likes it!
Cons - No Lather without brush and could actually use a little more lather ability with the brush. However we are using a makeup brush and not an actual shave brush so one of those may work better.
